Not too many people are lining up to visit prisons for the Gospel! But I know a ministry where that is happening! It is 'Discipleship Unlimited.' This group of Jesus lovers are intent to minister mercy and grace where it is sorely needed. There are no trumpets sounding announcing their good works, no Christian magazines waiting to print their stories, but I tell you there are smiles on the angels' faces and warmth in the heart of God. The teams that count it a great privilege to visit those incarcerated for whatever crime, find joy in knowing they do His will. I know, for I am privileged to be part of this ministry team. It is ministries like this one that are giving folk like me a chance to minister in secret, not letting the left hand know what the right hand is doing, no one is watching but Jesus. No one is noticing but the women and men behind bars who you don't need to convince are sinners, unlike the folk in church! There are many free women and men behind bars these days because of prison ministries. Come and join us if for no other reason than to hear the Lord Jesus say, "Thank you for visiting me!"
